Syci, jak pewnie już wspominałem, miał radziecki singiel pod tytułem Cердце деревнu. Strasznie nas to bawiło. I długo nie znaliśmy oryginalnego tytułu piosenki. Doskonale się za to przy niej grało w kapsle.
Do dzisiaj lubię takie proste piosenki. Niewymuszone, bezpretensjonalne, o niczym. Ot, słabość.
Słabość do kapsli minęła wraz z niewymuszoną dorosłością.
Czteropłytowy zestaw Pure McCartney wydany z okazji publikacji biografii dorosłego już chłopaka z Wielkiej Czwórki, dokumentuje muzycznie okres postBeatlesowski. I słusznie, bo nazbierało się tego sporo: jako Paul McCartney, jako Wings i jako Fireman. Przy czym Macca odwalił kawał dobrej roboty przesłuchując uważnie swoje taśmy i układając piosenki tak, jakby powstały z myślą o tej właśnie płycie.
Chronologia jest dobra w dokumentach. Życiem rządzą emocje.
Komuś kto, jak ja, wychował się na Beatlesach i McCartneyu, emocji ta płyta dostarczy tak dużo, że czasem potoczą się kroplą po policzku. Ot, słabość. Starożytni twierdzili, że wszechświat jest muzyką. Dużą jego część podarował mi właśnie Paul McCartney wraz z tym zestawem.
Jest bezcenny. Więc oceniać się go nie da.
Z ciekawostek, to piosenki pochodzące z płyty Tug of War zostały ponownie zremasterowane w 2015 roku na potrzeby wydania jubileuszowego i w takich właśnie wersjach trafiły na Pure. Wśród nich najbardziej chyba wzruszający utwór, króciutki Here Today, napisany po śmierci Johna Lennona. Genialnie brzmi My Valentine z gitarą Erica Claptona i pianinem Diany Krall. Zabawnie słucha się też odwrotnej wersji Say Say Say, w której Paul McCartney i Michael Jackson zamienili się śpiewanymi fragmentami w kontrze do znanej, popularnej wersji tego przeboju.
Z zaskoczeń, to żadna piosenka z tej kolekcji się nie zestarzała. Jakby wszystkie powstały jednego dnia, a McCartney dopiero co obchodził trzydzieste urodziny. Posłuchajcie The World Tonight z płyty Flaming Pie!
Ale ten tort ma więcej świeczek. A każda ma swój własny blask.
